Did Coach Saban see this coming?

I don’t think anyone has brought this up before!
I know that the NIL and the Transfer Portal was mentioned in Coaches retirement but does anyone think that Coach Saban saw the writing on the wall to?
We lost a bunch of seniors and we lost a bunch to the portal. Is there any chance that Coach didn’t want to go out with a possible less than 10 win season?
Just a thought.
