There is a lot more riding on these next three games than you may have considered to date.

As of right now, Alabama has won 21 games in a row. That is the fifth longest such streak in SEC history. A win Saturday against MSU would move Bama into a tie for fourth with the '08-'09 Florida teams. One more win on the 19th would move the Tide into a tie for third with the '37-'39 Tennessee teams. A win over the little fellas from the plains would not only move Bama into third place all time, but it would mean Alabama hold all three such streaks with the 28 in a row won both in '78-'80 and again in '91-'93.

Now, if you assume all three wins, that gets us to 24. A win then in the SECCG puts Bama into a six way tie for the longest streak in college football history at 25. If we manage to then win the CFP, 27 in a row would be all alone in 20th place all time.

Bulldogs, you're next! RTR!!
