Didn’t get to watch the game

We took our first lead and then Shack had 4 CONSECUTIVE turnovers/back shots. Clemson was up 9 two minutes later.

Made our first 3-pointer 10 minutes into the 2nd half. Half court offense is a joke and Reese continues to play when the game is on the line for some reason.

Reese played better than Rojas and I think his defense and rebounding have improved. He took an ill advised 3, but they all took poor shots. He looks much better than last year. Who do you like better?

Agree Tusk4, we don’t screen or help anyone get open. Instead of driving to the basket like we tried to do all night, amazingly we kicked it outside very few times.

A simple down screen or a back screen to get someone flashing to the middle would've worked wonders in opening up the 3-point line. Much more effective than driving and getting into no-man's land.

There was a specific possession last night where we had all 5 spread out. A basic back screen to get Petty the ball at the free throw line would've left the opposite corner (I think it was Primo) completely naked.

i did not see the game but herb and shack have been taking bad shots and reese thinks he has .01 on the clock and has to get rid of it quick. rojas has got to slow down and let the game come to him.

Rojas has been nothing short of awful. I’d like to see his minutes start going to Ambrose-Hylton or Gary.

I think we miss Kiras ability to drive and dish. JQ can drive but his passing is not as good. it was also one of those nights where even when we deflected a pass, Clemson wound up with it. It was frustrating but Clemson played tough D all night.

When we take the extra pass or two, we look much more crisp and usually end up with an uncontested shot. Pfaud is right, if we don't get better rebounding, it will be a long season.

Question, Gary was on of first two subs early in the game. Looked good for the few minutes he was in and left the game. Did he return later?

It's not the shooting itself, it's the lack of being able to create an open look to get a quality shot. I think we had a total of 2-3 actual good looks last night that were not a contested shot.
This worries me

Like everyone running to implement hunh a few years ago. Seems all we have is fire up 3s early and often. And we still seem to lack physical and mental toughness

I was thinking. The same thing . He played minimal mins . And I’d much rather have him In than Reese or Rojas . Rojas has really been shitting the pot lately . Looked like Ambrose got in as well at the same time gary did . But they never did see the court after that . I’m really starting to go question oatmeal .

With the way they defend, they ain't finishing 10th.
Other than the fact that it came against us, I enjoyed watching Clemson play. Suffocating defensively and fundamentally sound on offense. Much like the Virginia teams of late. They're a very well coached team and will finish much higher than 10th in the ACC. i could actually see them reaching the top 10 nationally.
