Finally got the best of us in my opinion. Between the miles case, multiple coaches announcing they are leaving mid tournament and the oats/saban comments, it had to catch up eventually. Tonight was the night it did.

Horrible performance tonight but had fun watching this team this year. Miller and Clowney will be missed. Hoping we can get some 3 point shooters in the portal. We really need some.

We also need massive leap forwards from Rylan and Nimari. Sears has to figure it out as well.

We talk about shooters every year. Surely we are recruiting guys that can shoot. Do they shoot too much at practice and such at Bama? Or take worse shots than they are shooting before Bama? Or what? Same story pretty much every year.

Missed opportunity Bama may not have again. Blew it against UCLA 2 years ago and then tonight.
Nicks comments were another PR disaster. Intentional or not.
Coaches leaving should have been announced after tourney as well.
Just feels Bama basketball will never cash it all in. Very sad tonight.

Could have been..

Sears needs to work on his handle.. he could step it up significantly by working in his dribbling, especially his offhand

We've got guys that can shoot it. Brandon Miller is a great shooter, along with a couple others that are very good. Pressure affects Alabama differently it seems in basketball more than any other school. Whatever the reason, we're gonna eventually crumble under pressure in the game of basketball. We've got the most talent with the exception of maybe UConn or 1 or two other schools. Top to bottom, i think we're the most complete collection off players. For this team not to advance past 16 in the fashion that we lost is easily the most disappointing defeat in over 30 years.

Not ever making a Final Four and losses like tonight and 2 years ago vs UCLA just seems to be the price for the football greatness.

Agree with you/ for some reason “ things” always happen at this point. Could talk for days about it. Very frustrating.

It's not their ability to shoot, it's the shots they take. When they shoot great they pass great great.

Pass pass pass or dribble dribble dribble.
Make make make or miss miss miss

Yes, FAU and SDSU made it to the final 8.

And apparently bama is the most talented team .. top 5 draft pick in this year’s draft.and bama can’t do it

Again

We had several guys who were very reliable three point shooters for most of the season. Miller was lighting it up and Sears wasn't far behind. Then Griffen was money shortly thereafter. Over the last three weeks all three could barely hit rim. Miller still hit a few here and there but nothing close to how he shot for 3/4 of the season, especially when left open. What the #$%@ happened?

I notice a lot of our guys have set shots as well. JQ, Nimari, clowney, Rylan. BM is really the only one that elevates when they shoot or can shoot off a curl screen. Sears can sometimes but he’s been broke for 20 games now.
How often have you seen bama set an off the ball screen to get a jump shot?

I haven’t seen it very often .. liked to see it more

Miller shot it great most of the season. I bet you’d be shocked by some of the others percentages. Outside of Miller, it was poor for a team that lives by the 3.

All I am saying is several of these guys were at least 30% shooters from 3 for most of the year. That's almost 1 of 3 and I'll take it. But over the last 3 weeks or so all of them suddenly became 1 of 6 shooters from the arc. What happened?

Can they get tired? How many threes you think they shoot daily from the beginning of the season until now?

They were much more physical and forced outside shots that the Tide missed or turned over in sloppy passes.
