as the SEC tournament draws to a close and the NCAA starts? The season is complete and you still don't really know which guy out of Reese, Rojas, or Gary is going to give you valuable minutes.

With Oats playing so many players, I wish we would try full court pressure more often. I remember Pitino doing this years ago, and it really disrupts the opposing team’s rhythm if run properly. The Bama teams of years past, even the good ones from the 80’s and early 90’s, didn’t have enough quality depth to do this, but we do now. Just a thought.

I have wondered that also. Of course if we do it in the tournament it would be a surprise. RTR

I thought the same thing. Bring it out in the tournament and surprise a quality opponent who did not plan on it from the film they watched. When I played, I absolutely hated the times the other team did this, outside of the very end of the game. It just takes you totally out of your comfort zone on offense.

Oats has said he doesn’t play a lot of full court pressure because it opens the floor for the other team to get to the rim too easily if they have good ball handlers. I would not expect him to change his philosophy on this or rotating players. Seems like it is working.

I just don't see them doing something that they havn't done all season. Could just as easily result in foul trouble.

To me, playing all of Bruner, Reese, Rojas and Gary seems a bit too much for our guard heavy rotation. Rojas needs to stay on the bench. Reese and Gary should be picking up those minutes.
