I have to agree about the injury being strange. To be honest, I have never heard of a calf injury. I played basketball and other sports for 40 years and never had/saw/heard of a calf injury. I could understand if he was shot or suffered a deep cut.

Pulling for Welch to get some quality minutes, I think I remember that CNO was going to start him at the first of the season before his injury.

Danged if we do not get more than our share of mysterious slow healing injuries. Think of Wheaton, Harrell, Anderson etc.
