As they say thats why we play the games. It would be a great win for the program.
I just hope we can win two games in Oregon, that us one heck of a field. We will play three teams out of this field: Alabama, Iowa State, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oregon, Portland, UConn, and Villanova. and then we come home for more, South Dakota State, Houston, Memphis and Gonzaga. Even Calipairi is not dumb enough for that schedule. If we go 4-3, we should be in the Top Ten and 7-0 and we should be number one. I would be overjoyed going 4-3.

That schedule is great experience for what has to be endured in March.
Said it last summer/ Oats has over scheduled with a young team. Some rough outcomes coming up.
when you put nba talent on the floor it is hard to over schedule.
Yet he has done so. Those other teams they are playing have higher quantities of NBA talent and do not live and die by the 3 ball.
Who gives a $#!@ it's November. Losing a close game to Sparty or Gonzaga carries more weight than beating South Pensacola State plus if you're a Brandon Miller type player do you want to play for a school who's first 9 games are not televised because nobody has heard of the opponent or do you want to go somewhere to show your skills against the best?? I get your point but this team will be better for having gone through this IMO plus this squad has ridiculous depth this year.
I’m not sure this team is going to live and die by the 3 pointer as much as his previous teams have my man.
Don’t get me wrong the three is definitely going to be a top priority, but guys on this team have shown the propensity to take the ball to the rack to score or dish unlike any of his previous teams have.
Like you I expect this team to get totally drilled a couple of times this year, but these tournament committees have shown that a loss to a good team seems to go much farther than beating a bad team does.
One thing is for sure, when we go to bed November 27th we will know a whole lot more about this team than we do now.

Encouraged by the improvement in rebounding and defensive effort of this team so far. Would like to see the turnovers decrease and still need an increased low post presence on offense.
Not only March, but also the SEC schedule.
