Not many undefeated college basketball teams historically. This Tide team is deep and well coached relative to today’s college basketball. Good times.
I am getting tired of naysayers in all of our sports. So if you can’t tolerate mistakes and losses don’t be a sports fan as they will happen will humans playin. Proud of this young team fighting through a tough game and not losing focus.
they only come out when we don't play well.
Most of those guys treat basketball like football, as in if you don’t win every game, you’re trash.

Proud of this team and the fight. Way more heart and will in the first 5 minutes than at any point in the UConn game.

Hell yeah I bashed after the UConn loss. We were the more talented team and played like dog shit.
America as a whole is accepting mistakes from everyone. This is lowering standards and expectations. We are creating wussy's, one “Attoboy”, one “Good Job”, and one participation trophy at a time.
sassy, you have a point in this case, but we have a societal problem that is bigger.
It was a huge gut check win. Proud of the guys for continuing to fight through adversity, even though much of it was self inflicted. They never gave up and found a way to get the job done. Agree on Bradley and Bediako. JB is my favorite of our 3 point guards. Bediako was the difference in the game IMO. I said when Clowney went down that it was imperative for him and Gurley to stay out of foul trouble. We wouldn’t have won that game if Pringle had been forced to play extended minutes.
Man we have very different opinions on our point guards. Imo we have two high level PG’s in Q and Sears and a very serviceable option in Bradley. Not knocking him, but imo he needs to be coming in to spell the other two guys. I love having Q and Sears on the floor together.
I’m not saying Bradley is the best right now. He’s just my favorite of the 3.

Your guess is as good as mine! His defense is incredible. If he can start making a few open threes per game and play the defense he’s playing that would be huge. I do think long term Griffin is a more efficient version of Burnett offensively. He’s made some really nice drives to the basket and has potential to shoot it really well. Hope we can keep him around for a few years.
I agree on Griffen, he Bradley and even Miller are learning by fire and I can see them all improving over time. I meant to throw Clowney in there too. He is so valuable to the team to me.
It's crazy how a basketball game day thread will only be 3-4 pages tops if Bama is winning but the minute they are playing poorly, posters who don't post much will be all in the threads making dumb comments. You can always tell if Bama won or loss just by looking at the number of pages in a game day thread, a will equals 3 pages, a loss equals 6+ pages.

He’s the most creative at the rim, Q the quickest and most creative passer, and Sears best shooter off the ball. They all compliment each other well if you ask me.

Everyone has a different personal definition of a “Shitty Fan”. Until some established, well respected organization publishes a definition, I suggest other adjectives be selected when comparing another person to ourselves.
If Q will stick to what he does well up he can be dynamic for us. He frustrates me in that if he makes a good drive, he starts doing it too much. He needs to mix up the driving to score and kicking it out. When he's doing both, he's special. When he drives 5 times in a row against someone a foot taller and keeps getting stuffed or taking bad shots, he's ordinary.
He did get a little stingy with the ball in the 2nd half. Kicking the ball out or just passing the ball would have been much more effective most of the time he was hogging the ball.

I am thankful we have enough posters back here to argue about this. I am thankful we got our board back. I am thankful we just beat 2 big name teams. I am thankful to see the argument be pretty cordial. I am just thankful for basketball season!!!

We are a more talented than UConn but didn’t show it because we didn’t show up and got beat bad. I’ll be pissed all I want about that and praise them when they deserve it.
