He should be. Needs to learn how to create his own shot.
We can only hope. He could use another year to gain some muscle mass so that he can stand his ground. He got pushed around and bowled over quite a bit this past season.
The four Mock Draft's I checked projected him going #14, #22, #24, or #31 which is worth $2 or $3 million a year...not Miller's projected $7 million a year but you would think he's one and done.
I know nothing about assessing kids in preparation of the draft but I've been saying all along I just don't see him as a 1st rounder right now. Not bashing the kid. I just don't see all the gah, gah just because he hits some wide open threes and lived off of put back rebounds. You have to have some abilty to create your own shot in the NBA.

Why does a big guy like him need to be able to create his own shot? If he can do that, he might be the #1 pick. He just needs to learn to finish and make open shots when the guards create one for him.
Clowney should come back and sit at the buffet for 3 meals a day.
