FWIW, Galin Smith made his debut w/ the terps in their 1st game of the season today in an 18 pt. win over Old Dominion. He scored 6, w/ 4 boards in 20 mins. (4 fouls though !) ! ! Md. needed bigs & i doubt he would have gotten many minutes in T Town this yr. !

So is the Big 10, of which Maryland is a member.
I agree I thought he always gave great effort. He currently has 8 points at the half against Navy 32-25.
Galin finished with 12 points today. The Maryland system seems to be a good fit for him. Jaylen Forbes had 15 points and 7 rebounds in his debut at Tulane today. He’s one I really hated to see leave, as I think he could’ve developed into a very good player for us.
yea shack was our only freshmen that played that we brought back. i let it be known i wanted to keep forbes and davis/fleming and let them finish developing.
maybe bruner and ellis will turn our great, but i have never been a fan of building your program with grad transfers and jucos
having said that--i have confidens oats and i think he is doing a good job.
I’m in complete agreement and have been all offseason. Although, I do think Ellis is going to be a beast for us.
