Alabama is on an 11-2 run and leads Oakland 26-15 with 7:36 to play. Oakland is in a 2:44 scoring drought. Alabama is 4 of 12 from beyond the arc.

Alabama leads Oakland 30-19 with 3:59 left in the half. Oakland has made just one of its last 13 shots from the floor.

Great 1st half by the Tide! We have 6 really good players and if we can get anything out of Miles, Gurley, Ambrose, Holt and Tchixkou it’s just a bonus. We will need some of those guys and so far Miles has shown some promise.

I should say Miles has shown some good. Not so much tonight. Holt played some good defense tonight and Gurley has been ok if you take away the turnovers so guess he’s not been great. Haha! It’s still moving just a little fast for him, but hoping he can improve and be a pivotal player on this team.

I think Gurley has a good chance of being better than Bruner. His ceiling seems fairly high.

Alabama extends its lead to 58-38 over Oakland with 11:55 remaining. The Tide is on a 6-0 run.

This team is good. Just imagine when we are hitting some 3’s!!! Just need to continue this defense the rest of the game and continue taking good shots. Outstanding guard play and great 1st half by Bediako. He’s solid!

Bediako is really good and should only get better. JQ and Shack playing well. Keon not his best night, but still playing good d and hitting a few shots.

Alabama leads Oakland 80-51 with 3:23 remaining. Oakland hasn't made a shot in nearly four minutes.

We have a bunch of walk one don’t we? Just saw Rojas, will he be about 30 during the season next year?

JQ is a damn wizard with the basketball. The only reason he may not play in the nba is size. Dudes handles and stuff he does around the rim have nba written all over them

how did he look?

It wasn't much to see. I'll say from his movement he might be out of shape but didn't see anything positive that stood out but he really didn't have opportunities to do much. Just didn't appear super athletic.

Size? Two former NBA players might disagree with you...Tiny Nate Archibald & Spud Web (won the dunk competition), both shorter than JQ.

Yea but the NBA is a very special cult that I have never quit understood.

The only thing I get is that if you're young elite athlete with a special skill or talent, you're in but if you're an elite scorer or great basketball player who knows what that means.

If the exact Quinerly we know dunked one time from the free throw line boom top 5 pick.

Q will play in the league, but IMO his role will be determined by his shooting. If Q is shooting 40%+ percent then he has all the tools to be a lead guard because he has shown to have great wiggle, a good eye for distributing the basketball and is a willing defender.

He isn’t going to be a Ja Morant, Westbrook, or even a De’Aaron Fox because those guys are elite athletes, but if he can show the consistency shooting that those guys lack, then he has the tools to lead and will get paid for it.
