TV: SEC Network
Radio: Crimson Tide Sports Network
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Alabama 8, Vanderbilt 5 | 1H, 15:23

Alabama takes its first lead of the game thanks to an 8-0 run over the last 2:21. Mark Sears and Brandon Miller led the team in scoring, tallying 3 points a piece.

Alabama 13, Vanderbilt 5 | 1H, 11:50

Much better ball movement from Alabama to start the game as it continues a 13-0 scoring run that's lasted 5:54. Alabama is shooting 40% from the field.

A night-and-day improvement from how the team shot in Norman.

Alabama 85, Vanderbilt 34 | 6:59, H2

Alabama has 25 assists and is shooting 62% from the floor, including 16 of 32 from beyond the arc.

Five players score in double figures. Mark Sears was 1 point and 2 assist away from a double double. Miller was 2 rebounds away from a double double.
Jahvon Quinerly only had 3 points but also had like 8 assist.
Just a un-real offensive performance.

Where's Pringle?
Prior to tip Oats said that even though their depth is a blessing it's hard to find a group of 8 to roll with which isn't fair because none of the guys have done anything to lose minutes. Could be Oats wanted to see how certain guys were going to play with heavier minutes and Pringle was the odd man out.

Final: No. 4 Alabama 101 Vanderbilt 44

The Crimson Tide records its biggest victory in the Nate Oats era and the largest SEC win in program history.

Alabama (19-3, 9-0 in the SEC) will travel to LSU on Saturday.
Love how Coach said he hates they're the ones who had to play us after Oklahoma. Sounds like some flexing there! More work to do, but that's how you do it.

He also seems to like Stack. So he might also actually feel bad.
Definitely. His statement was meant in kindness and respect, but also maybe a slip as to his knowing of this team's capacity. It's back on. And Stack would have been jockeying the officials all night if it had mattered one iota.

I just got back from the game and I'm totally pissed at the vacant seat holders. those are the people that stand in the way of CNO's effort to change the culture of this basketball program.
They missed a performance that set records !
Time to move on Greg Byrne.

I told my wife the same thing when I got home. Look I don’t mind rows 38-47 being spotty, but we just have too many good seats vacant. Don’t get me wrong, we probably had close to 10K in attendance which for a 7:30 game against Vandy is not a bad crowd at all, but the people that consistently don’t show up in the good seats really blows.

As for the game, absolute dominance.

ROLL TIDE!!!!
