I live in the Atlanta suburbs and listen to sports talk radio and read friends posts on Facebook. These folks are really confident of beating Bama bad, players, fans everyone. Kinda reminds me of the infamous "Blackout" game a few years back. It would be great for Bama to provide the same result.

I live north of Atlanta and can confirm.
I seriously had some neighbors(UGA fans) of mine tell me there were 10 QBs in college football better than Bryce Young and that Saban is washed up….
My wife now knows why I don’t like to hang out with any of my neighbors.

They are an insufferable bunch. A loss would send them over the ledge.

This will not be nothing remotely close to the Blackout. Kids are different this day and age and money is what they buy into now.

I live in Atlanta area and they are obnoxious every year but this year they have backed it up. I would love to shut them up this weekend.

I'm doing reverse psychology. Taking Georgia and giving Bama and the 6 1/2.
Also taking the under 50 1/2. Georgia 28 Bama 21
Only betting a few $$$.

I live in Atlanta, and the DAWG fans are delusional and unrealistic. If they lose, the fan base will implode by pointing fingers and asking Smart to leave and say that he will never get them a championship. BAMA will ROLL because the JAWGA players cocky behavior will be their down fall, and they will be playing tight since they are favored to win, which I hope they don't.

There is so many reasons that Georgia should win this game easily. You look at the our OL couldn’t block a Girl Scout girl, lack of healthy RBs and a defense that has been exposed many times this year. They have a dominant defense and a stable of RBs, room full of TEs that could start on any team in the us and getting their number WRs back with the others finding their footing. They are coming in hot, the pressure should be on them and not Bama.

Georgia fans have a reason to be overly optimistic this year. Even if they somehow lose to Bama Saturday, they already know they will get a 2nd shot to play them for a NC. They just have to win 1 out of two, and if they win the first game, they will play in the easiest playoff field since its’ inception. A non P5 Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Michigan instead of the Ohio St, Clemson, Bama’s, LSU’s, and Oklahoma’s of the past decade. Add to that how bad Bama’s OL has played all season vs their front 7. If I were them I have to admit I would be brimming with confidence.

I hope so. Georgia fans always talk football as if they are relevant, in the mix every year. It just rubs me the wrong way.

I haven't had to be around dawg fans in many years but I did have to be around them a few years. I pity anyone having to deal with the rabid dawgs. There are a few "normal" fans but their redblacktraintrack slobbering crowd is the worst fanbase in the league. No one else even compares. The worst cajun gator or barner is tame by comparison. It's like if you merged a Philly Eagles fan with Bills mafia and dropped them off on one of the peachtree roads wearing red and black.

If you catch a true barn fan in an honest moment where he doesn't know a bama fan is around and he'll quickly say he hates dawg fans far more than any bama fan.

If they win I hope you have a month worth of vacation saved up so you don't have to listen to it all Dec.

My dad is a diehard UGA fan. He is realistic and knows until they beat Alabama, he can't say much. But I logged onto his rivals account on the UGA website and I kid you not, most of the UGA fans think it'll be over by halftime.

Think after what transpired Saturday and how we somehow came through has installed an alpha mentality for everyone of our guys.

I have put up with these Dawg fans for pretty much all my life. They are a red neck self absorbed bunch. Usually they are delusional …They feel like this is their year and they are probably right. I’ve been setting them up all week…. “ if you don’t beat Alabama this year with Saban’s worst team since 2007 and your best team in 42 years, then it may never happen.”
I just hope we come out and play the next play and play a full game of mistake free , high energy football. That’s what it will take.

Tide teams that have beaten arrogant Georgia teams in past had had fewer actual shortcomings position by position relative to Georgia than does this Tide team. With that said, Tide has a lot of talent, a lot of good coaching, and is given no chance except by Gary. If Tide stop Georgia run game, they win. Bryce good enough to score more on good Georgia D than Bennett scores against Bama If Tide D stops Georgia run game. Special teams is a draw.

For the hopeless out there 'Go back and watch the first quarter of the UGA v fAU game. Do the same for UF, UK, and UT. Not ignoring Arky but lets set that one aside for right now and do the same for Clemson. As bad as everyone seems to think Alabama is I think they are better than those 4 teams (AU, UF, UK, and UT). UGA struggled early with all 4 opponents. As the games went on those teams' inability to put any pressure on UGA allowed the Dogs to gain control of the games. Also, go back and look at defensive statistics for both teams. Alabama has more sacks, tfls, interceptions, and our offense has greater TOP. Georgia's defense is talented and well coached. Georgia leads in PPG and YPG but remember they didn't play Tamu, Ole Miss, MSU, or Alabama. They may have done the same to them but we will never know (guess we will find out about 1 on Saturday). And regarding differential in ppg and ypg, 1 and 1/2 busted plays a game by Alabama pretty much explains that. Also, I think teams get up more for Bama than UGA. People saying this is a hopeless endeavor are allowing their passions to rule their view of reality. $h!t may indeed hit the fan early but there is enough in the numbers to suggest the Tide has a very good shot to win this game. Put pressure on them early, get turnovers, no busted assignments and don't let up. We will see. Roll Tide.'
