I must give credit to Jimbo and his staff for coming up with an excellent game plan for Alabama. aTm obviously thought that is they stopped the Alanbama run game and did not allow Milroe time for the long pass that they could man up the Alabama receivers, which they did in the first half.

At halftime, someone for Alabama decided that we should go to a quick drop and quick flare passes, which seemed to immediately work. aTm gave a lot of respect to Milroe’s legs and speed, which opened a lot of the game. For the first time in two seasons I saw Alabama use the slant pass to the wide receiver In the second half.

Last week people were asking, where was Burton? In calling a game, you take what the other team gives you, which is what Rees did Saturday.. State gave us the run with a 3-3-5. aTm ran a basic 4-3-4 mana to man, guarding against the long pass, giving us the short passing game and we took it.

I most only see Milroe growing as a QB each week, I see Tommy Rees growing as an OC.
