I have a 3 night reservation at Hotel Modern on St. Charles Ave. for December 30th - January 2nd that I will not be able to use. Got a really good deal, compared to other hotels that I researched for an average cost of $280 per night. Total cost with taxes is $940.50. Cable car located directly across the street, and the attendant told me it was an easy walk to Bourbon St., Riverwalk, and the Superdome. I'm not sure if her idea of an easy walk is the same as mine though, but it's relatively close to everything, but far enough away so the noise won't be a factors.
