I know. But they wouldn’t have in the Elite 8. It would have been a 1 seed and Houston got a 12.Bama only played double digit seeding. Iona 15 Maryland 10 UCLA 11
Isn't it more about the double digit seeds like Oregon St beating single digit seeds then it is about Houston? They do not control who wins in the tournamentThey’ve only played double digit seeds to get to the Final Four. Nice path for them.
Double digit seeds win every year. Maybe there are more this year? But teams don’t usually make it to the final four playing all double digit seeds. I’m not sure where I said it was a negative for Houston? I’m guessing it isn’t common, so I posted it.Isn't it more about the double digit seeds like Oregon St beating single digit seeds then it is about Houston? I didn’t take it as a negative. I took it as an answer to a statement that was accurate by you. Yes, They had a good path of fate, luck etc and did their part by winning. I agree! There would be much sounder minds around here if we had just played up to chalk and gotten beat by a slightly better michigan team. We'll carry this one for a while. Just folded under the pressure, plain and simple. I know houston liked their path and made the most of it after that scare they had in round 2. We had a very nice path as well.
100%.This. I wouldn't have cared if we lost to Michigan by 20 if they were a better team but we are better than UCLA. We would beat them 8 out of 10 times at a neutral site. I'm still sick about it
