NEWARK, N.J. ā€” Maybe all Mark Sears needed was a change of scenery. Maybe thereā€™s something in the New Jersey water. Maybe he was just due. Whatever it is, Alabama will hope to replicate it for the remainder of the NCAA Tournament.

Sears broke out of a five-game shooting slump Thursday night, scoring a team-high 34 points to lead No. 2 seed Alabama to a 113-88 win over No. 6 seed BYU in the Sweet 16.
