A&M rushes for less than 100 yds.. The reason Bama is so good at rushing D is because they use their hands to control blockers.. Allowing them to locate the ball, instead of just filling gaps.. That can quickly become too big to do so, if the next gap is widened any by the next gap filler.. The zone read blockers do more shielding than actually blocking.. So if you just lean into the blockers trying to hold your ground, you'll get gashed..
Feeling real comfortable about this game.. The good thing about A&M is that this is the same offense they have run since Sumlin has been there..
Speaking of Sumlin.. Since coming to the SEC he has always been a front runner type coach.. Score early and hold on late.. So if Bama get out to a lead early.. It will take him out of what he's comfortable doing..
