So much talent and versatility but this team will only go as far as Q and Sears can take them.this team is as good as advertised. roll tide
What about Miller? So much talent and versatility but this team will only go as far as Q and Sears can take them.
This is a good point. We all know this team has to shoot well, turn the ball over less, and play good defense to be a real contender come tournament time, but teams that have that go to star, on top of that, are in a different position. I remember watching us play Purdue in the 2nd round of the tournament as a kid, and the difference was they had Glen Robinson to go to when the team fell into lulls, or the game was really on the line. Having that special type of player makes a big difference in those types of games. It looks like we might just have one of those this year. What about Miller?
Not a knock on him at all because he is the best player on the team. However, at this point in the early season he doesn't strike me as a player you hand the ball to and get out of his way. That may come and I hope it does but if Sears and Q can get to the rim then Gurley, Miller, Griffen, Clowney, Burnett, etc. are all elevated greatly. What about Miller?
Glen Rice played college basketball at Michigan. This is a good point. I’m pretty sure he was talking about Glenn Robinson. He’s to young to have my old man problems mixing up names. I think his son GR 3 did play for Michigan.Glen Rice played college basketball at Michigan.
You are correct. I meant Glenn Robinson. I will fix.Glen Rice played college basketball at Michigan.
My old brain had to google it to be sure. I quit relying solely on my memory a long time ago. I had forgotten about Glen Robinson. He was a great one.I’m pretty sure he was talking about Glenn Robinson. He’s to young to have my old man problems mixing up names. I think his son GR 3 did play for Michigan.
ROLL TIDE!!!!
He’s already that guy right now imo. You win in March with elite backcourts, but Miller will be a go-to guy all season. I agree that Sears and JQ opens things up for everyone else thoughNot a knock on him at all because he is the best player on the team.
