I wasn't going to mention this but today I decided to. I had 8 season tickets to this year's Alabama games. I bought them so that I could take my daughter and grandkids and sit together. Plus, we knew we could take other friends or family to some games. She decided she only wanted to go to one game with 3 young kids and picked the Arkansas game because it was the best weekend for her. So, I invited some others to go with us to the Tennessee games.
Some things came up and she couldn't go to the Arkansas game but told me she wanted to go to the Tennessee game. I had already gave those tickets away but I couldn't make myself tell her that they couldn't go. My wife and I decided to just buy 4 more tickets when we got there and move our friends to different seats and enjoy the game with our daughter and grandkids. I was trying to find tickets as cheap as possible. The best deal I found was $300 for 4 tickets about 30 minutes before kickoff. I had already spent a lot on the 8 season tickets but my wife said just buy the tickets, it will be worth it. We love the Tennessee game more than any other game.
I told them to go to the gate and I would go back to the guy and buy the tickets and meet them there. He had sold the tickets and I was negotiating with another guy trying to get some tickets.
Then my son called me and ask if I had bought any tickets. I told him that I had not. He said not to buy any because an Alabama fan just walked up to them and ask if they needed tickets and my son said yea, we need four. The gentlemen ask if they had any children and they said yes, 3. He gave them four tickets in the lower level, all together, and said enjoy the game.
I don't know who the man was but I sure do appreciate the tickets. I wish I could thank him personally. He blessed my family that day and it was like he knew exactly what we were needing. Just thought I would share! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!
