My fiancé graduated with her masters at Ole Miss so I surprised her with tickets to this game. My thoughts are that Auburn is really good, but why do defenses continue to line up in 3 man fronts? You run a zone read option against a 3 man front, then the holes to run through are huge. Hence how Pettway gets such long runs. Their defensive front is stout but they have trouble in the secondary. They play off coverage, so running screen passes will work effectively. Also, they can't cover a TE so we should use that to our advantage.
Huge swing of events was the wide open TD dropped then the pick. The air out of the stadium was sucked out. I talked to someone next to me who said Bama is a lot better than AU, said OM got very lucky that was such a close game with us. Anyway, just thought I'd share my insight. Back to basketball!
