If Clemson wins big Saturday. Who goes?

If you will recall, four days ago South Carolina beat Clemson at Clemson. What happens if SMU gets embarrassed by Clemson?

SMU will have played two top 25 games all season and lost both games. Alabama would have gone 3-1 and Carolina would have gone 2-2, with one of the two losses being Alabama.

I think if SMU loses a close game they could survive; however, if they lose by more than one score, they are improving South Carolina’s argument.

Is SMU the 2024 version of TCU?
