if jd is

expected to go in the 2nd round, is he still gone?
I don't think he will leave if he gets the news he is a 2nd round guy. The thing is, he is still being viewed as a kid that will fall no further than 25th. The NBA is not like the NFL where CFB is the only place a player can go to hone their skills and get better.

The money is also too good to pass up. Even if he drops to the 25th pick, that's 2.4 million dollars next year and it will go up each year of his 4 year contract, making over 4 million his 4th year. Getting paid while you can spend as much time in the gym as you want to work on your game.

One used to have had really accomplished something in college to be a first round NBA pick. But apparently not any longer. If JD turns the ball over like this in college what will he do in the NBA?

The G league has come a long way and will be used to develop Jd. I mean teams are sending lotto picks to the G league for a year now. They draft potential then give you time to reach the potential before being depended on in the nba
