I was an avid dailyrpi.com checker for years, bad years, and it feels truly amazing to see what this team has accomplished. I NEVER thought I'd see us entering the tourney at RPI #2.

We would not be a lock for a 1 seed. rpi was never the only basis. The 4 teams that get a 1 seed will have a better resume and deserve it, nothing wrong with that

At one time, they looked at the last 10 games. We are 9-1 in the last 10 games with the only loss being to the #11 RPI team on their court.

I think you could make a case for us getting the #1 seed over Michigan, especially considering they will be without one of their best players at least for the beginning of the tournament. That being said seeing as we would have only switched places with Michigan in the same Region there really isn't much difference between the 1 and 2 seed.

Michigan has no bad losses and we do. That's the difference.
