With Jacksonville St becoming a Q3 win, Alabama has officially not played a single Q4 game. They’re the only team ranked in the top 40 in NET that has not. For reference, Gonzaga has played 7 and Baylor 6.

Alabama is 7th in NET and has the MOST Q1 & Q2 wins in the country at 14.

Also, Among the top 15 teams in NET, Alabama has had the toughest SOS (19) and Non-conference SOS (63).

Alabama has one of the best resumes in the country and that is why they are still in contention for a 1 seed. It is unlikely they land it, but they put themselves in position.

I think they’re locked into one of the top 2 seeds. Win the SEC and you have a great case for the fourth 1 seed

Honestly, if they were to win the Conference Tourney and you did a blind resume test, you'd have a hard time saying they are not worthy of a one seed.
