Is the team Doctor Responsible for us not being the One Seed

I saw the Baylor game against West Virginia and I really wonder what this team would have been with Butler running the show. There is no doubt in my mind that if Butler was running the Alabama Offense, we would be a much improved team and would be at least 22-4 on the season instead of 20-6 and on the 2 line. It is sad to say that Butler was healthy enough to play for three years in the Big 12 Conference, at the highest level, but was not healthy enough to play at Alabama, where he was enrolled. I love JQ, but JB would have made us a threat to win it all.

I want to thank our team Doctor for destroying our best chance to win the National Title.

They could’ve let him play, but it was going to be a huge risk with his heart problem. They didn’t feel comfortable, but Baylor was willing to overlook it. Alabama got Kira Lewis who is a better player than Butler, but 4 years of Butler is more valuable than 2 of Kira.

I have been singing this same tune for most of the season. The difference Butler would have made to this team would have been huge.

Well, we would probably would still have Avery, and we wouldn’t have just won the SEC. I am glad things worked out the way they did. Sometimes, the suffering pays off.

i do not think coach johnson really wanted to hold on to butler. he did not put up much of an arguement about it. JR was his back up point guard

I just wondered what heart condition it is. We signed a guy with Marfan this year. He must be lucky and his aorta must not be affected. Baylor had Isaiah Austin I believe with Marfan. The NBA wouldn’t touch him.
