No doubt that kid can play and will be a top pick. Offensive game light years ahead of JD right now. Davison refuses to take open threes and drives into crowds, elevates and turns it over 3/4 the time. He will get better right now just raw athlete. Auburn is playing very well early on. We need to find our touch from beyond the arc and will be fine. Avery and Grant teams would have lost that game last night by double figures. We at least found a way against a depleted Vol squad that played very hard. Will need a much better effort vs. Jabarny and crew.
i just find it entertaining you insinuate wrongdoing because jabari went to auburn. in the same vein, i imagine you believe all the 5* kids lining up to play for oats is just good recruiting.
auburn with lots of recent success, an elite recruiter who is a good coach, playing in a new arena with the best home court advantage in the sec? has to pay a good player to come.
alabama? just good old fashioned recruiting.

When has Bruce Pearl ever been without questions and baggage? The answer is NEVER.
I will admit/ the atmosphere in that gym is very good. Something Alabama needs to emulate in some way.
lil tigger, all you have to do to think Pearl is dirty is go to Wikipedia and look at his bio. It's easy to think Pearl is dirty because of his history. But the barn is glad to have him no matter what. Even with the fact that in his prior 7 seasons there he has a losing conference record. 59-67 I find it really funny that during the season last year when he saw his team was hot garbage, he decided to go ahead and forgo the post season because of NCAA investigations. He made the decision on November 22nd if I remember correctly.

Regardless of Pearl's shortcomings he obviously has an eye for talent and to get impact players such as Smith to come to the Barn instead of some of the other traditional Power 5 conference basketball powers is quite impressive. Barn from what I have seen iso far is dang good right now. When Bama and Barn do square off it will be interesting to see which team steps up to Compete as if they playing for the Title.
TIGER nor any Barn fan care who Pearl is or has been- they are desperate to win at anything. It was why he was hired in the first place. Would also like to know why a guy like Kessler would transfer to Lee County from North Carolina. More Pearl Magic.
Well Kessler is from Atlanta and was woefully underutilized by Roy Williams. Add in the change to Hubert Davis at head coach and really not too surprising that the kid would move closer to home. Folks can hate Pearl and AU all that they want (I do too) but I'd just about guarantee that zero fans want the NCAA snooping around their program either. From UNC degree scandal to fat Wade at LSU the NCAA can't hurt anybody now without bringing the whole house down.
auburn finished second in kessler’s recruitment. he didn’t like the way he was used at unc. he transferred to the runner up.

i know you hate the guy, but he is universally liked by people that meet or know him. i know you think he deserves execution by firing squad for having a bbq, but sometimes it helps to take the crimson colored glasses off.
i did the same with saban, and if oats keeps winning i’ll admit he was a great hire.
Hard to like a guy with no integrity. He may have a NCAA Championship this year because this team is loaded, but it doesn't hide the facts. There is no comparisons to Saban and Oats vs Pearl because of his history.
It was always much more than a BBQ. Deep down I think you also know that to be true.
