Looked like to me he was shuffling his feet before every 3 point shot.
The first step is a gather step. Then he as two after that before its a travel. His left foot is his pivot, he's shuffling his right foot. All this looks like a travel but its not.
It’s not just a drill. This is how you create habits, good or bad. Sometimes he catches and steps one-two. Sometimes he catches hops and goes one-two, which sure looks like a travel to me.
Ether way. Dude is putting in work to be a complete player and that’s what I like to see.
I’ll just say this. They call Traveling all the time that I never see. This is plain as day. He’s not putting the ball on the floor and there’s no way you can move your feet that much and a ref ain’t calling it.
I'll end the debate. That is 100% traveling. Maybe it's just part of the drill or something? But no way a shooting coach would have a player gathering to shoot like that. But this guy is a shooting expert so there's got to be something we're not seeing. Would love for him to explain this to me?

He’s not even doing the same thing every time. So it’s not “it.” Some of those aren’t travels and some of them are.

Man, I really thought this BBall group on here knew basketball better then what I've been reading. Also its amazing how many fans think he is traveling and won't take the time to learn what a zero step/gather step is.

Lol and you still are. I know for sure that harper is a coach he says it isn't and I use to coach. I also know what a zero step and gather step is. Its easy to go look up what they are and watch them being done on video. I'll take me actually looking up stuff than a guy that says he contacted this guy and he coaches. Feel free @Bobcat69 to disclose where you coach.

Pretty much everyone on here has coached something at some point, so that is useless. I live around the coaching world, some coaches don’t know a thing. And I’m not sure Harper is a coach...yet? When the board meets he will be. But anyway, being a coach doesn’t mean you know anything or everything.
Either way, he’s traveling. You can gather and then go one-two after that all with the ball in your hands, that’s 4 steps.
Some of it was traveling but some isn’t. The concept of the gather step isn’t and that was the point I was making. If he lands both feet at the same time (sometime he’s wasnt) he has yet to declare a pivot foot. There he can move again to set his pivot which is basically what he was doing. But yes this is just a live form shooting drill where footwork wasn’t the main focal point
