JQ

I am one of those detractors, but I always held out hope he would come around because he will be needed. Last night "he came around" and he sure as hell was needed. He played with attitude and would not be denied. In the imortal words of John Paul Jones..."damn the torpedos...full speed ahead!"

JQ, when he plays his role, is great for us. Drive and dish for spot up 3's or take it all the way when it is there. He hurts us when he over dribbles and forces it at the hoop. Last night he was the best version of JQ and without his play we don't win. As Yankel is alluding to, he may be coming into his own just in time for us.

l know when JQ first came back from his knee injury he did not play well. Some people formed their opinion after that. He had one kinda bad game since then, but it has been obvious to me that Coach Oates always looks to him in crunch time. @Vaughnbama l can honestly say l have been on the JQ Bandwagon all season and have never jumped ship. l hope to hell he comes back next year, but l kinda have my doubts.

All year I have heard people on this board getting on JQ, and some of the critiques were earned, but today, who is happy that JQ is a member of the Tide? Last night was vintage JQ.
It has been great to see JQ playing at a high level again. This team is deep and Oats will have the option most games to stay with whoever has the hot hand.
