I love the Masters...terrific event with several of my favorite holes in golf.

I'll keep Masters update in this thread but watched a bunch of the pressers last night and absolutely loved Justin Thomas' approach to this year's tournament. He has not played well here, 39th/22nd/17th in his three years, despite having the ideal game to crush this course. He hits it long, high ball flight, can both cut and draw the ball, historically destroys par 5's, is great around the green, and is the best approach player on the tour. In his presser he said that this year he will stoop being so conservative and aim for pins that he would normally aim at. His team (caddie, dad, him) went back through the tapes and saw that he was not really going for shots at Augusta that he would have attempted at "the Sony Open" but that after 12 rounds on this course he knows he's left a ton of shots out there.
I have personally bet JT and I don't think anyone realizes just how well he is playing this year because the wins haven't come. But, there is not a player on tour with better analytics going than JT considering he is:
#1 scoring average
#1 par 5 scoring
#2 % birdie or better
#3 shots gained tee-to-green
#3 shots gained scoring
#4 shots gained approach
#6 putting average
#6 birdie to bogey average
That's the complete game right there. He is a horrible wind player so if weather comes through he's in trouble but an aggressive JT that can avoid those 3-putts he can string together is my favorite to win this week. And it's not just because of the school he went to
top 6 Vegas favs in order are Rory>DJ>Rose>Rahm>Woods>Rickie
