-4 fouls is just what Herb needed. He looked like he was moving better but was a true blessing that his minutes got cut tonight.

-Oats doing a nice impression of King Saban tonight chewing some a$$ with literally a few seconds left in a blowout.

-Reese should have earned everybody's respect after tonight. No he is not a world beater and LSU is not strong inside but the kid has been playing with a lot of heart. You'd have to be crazy to not want him back helping lead next year's team.

-Speaking of next year's team: Petty and Jones will no doubt leave a void but with the minutes and development that guys like Primo, Shack, Gary, Miles, Ellis, Ambrose, and Q have gained this year Bama will not fall off of the face of the earth next season.

Roll Tide.

Great post and couldn't agree more, especially about Reese. He really was a warrior tonight and is playing with great energy.
Gary too. With the incoming class it is hard to know what Gary's role will be next season but he has certainly turned into a beast coming off of the bench. Remember just 3 weeks ago when the starters sat at the 16:00 mark how things would go bad in a hurry? Not so much now with Gary and Ellis stepping up.

Reese guarded Watford some tonight. A few times Watford tried to take him off the dribble and got nothing. I thought he played great tonight. And I know he's been playing really good since Bruner has been out.

Agreed. Gary and Ellis made a difference last night. I was one of Reese's detractors and I am impressed with the marked improvement. Something has ignited inside him and he is playing hard on both ends of the floor.

I think Gary may take Herb's leadership role next year.
i really like his game. he plays with a full head of steam. he might get a little out of control now and then, but he does not back down and plays with confidence. i think he is gonna be a great one
