Maybe it's on here somewhere ,but ,I just saw where former Tider Gary will miss the rest of Nebraska's season having shoulder surgery. He usually played with fire last year when he wasn't injured. He seemed to be especially potent when he donned the mask. I wish him well.

I agree. He was easy to like even though he was limited. Hated to see him go because I thought he could have a role here but leaving was probably best for him.

l also really liked Gary. He always played hard and sometimes brought life back to the team when they needed pepping up. l know he wouldn't exactly fit in perfectly with this group this year, but of all our transfers he would have been my top pick to have kept.

Might not. But he’d be better on this team than any other Bama team he was on. He wouldn’t have to score. Just defend, screen, rebound and play like his hair was on fire. All things he does well and things people love to overlook. He was on teams where we’d have 3-4 guys out there that were liabilities on offense.

This kid was not real tall, but he could get in there and mix it up and rebound with taller players. Always liked his hustle.

I agree. He was a guy that you’d like off the bench and knew he would hustle
