I put in a futurecast for Cooper to Alabama over a month ago. I haven’t heard anything that would change my mind, but anything can happen. There hasn’t been any info the past 2-3 weeks so it could go either way.

The longer his recruitment went, the less confident I was that we would be his pick. This one stings. He would’ve been the crown jewel of our class, and moved us into the top ten. It’s still a decent class with solid players, but there’s not a real difference maker IMO.
Sam Walters has the potential to be a difference maker
Time will tell, but I’m pretty sure that Rivals is the only service that has him rated in the top 100. He’s ranked 108 in the 24/7 composite. He is rated lower than all of our current freshmen were last year.
We may not need any of the 4 to be true difference makers, just solid players, as freshmen if we lose only lose Miller, Gurley, Quinerly, and Welch after the season
Maybe we can still get Kris Parker. I believe he’s supposed to announce his college choice on December 12.
I’m glad you can tell the future. There are 2-3 guys in this class that can be very good college players. That’s all you need.
