DeBoer on standing in front of the team for the first time: "I knew it would be dead quiet, there would be a lot of questions. There was a lot of emotion and things that they were going through, and we were just trying to meet them where they're at."
Saban: "But the real advantage is that they were real tired of my ass."
DeBoer said an unsung hero tonight could be the defense as a whole if it passes the test that Georgia's physicality presents. "That starts at the front, we have a lot of veterans there and as you get to the back we have a bit more youth. But we've done a great job these first three weeks."
DeBoer on bringing kids around the team on Fridays: "We call it Tide Teammates. It's just someone battling, showing a lot of courage. and fight and we get to celebrate who they are and we give them a great time here with our team.
Saban on the transition: "He respects the tradition here, he honored the success that we had but he actually put the stamp on the program relative to how he wanted to do it... and the players have really bought into it."
DeBoer said Alabama has had "a couple good weeks" of prep for this game.
On Milroe: "It's fun working with a guy like Jalen. It's tricky at the same time because you're trying to balance the strengths of him and what he brings that's different than anyone else in the country at the quarterback position, with what we still want to do and making sure we can still distribute the ball."
Pat McAfee stood on a chair and did a "Roll Tide Roll!"

Saban asked DeBoer the most significant thing he's learned about his team: "I'm very confident in our consistent preparation and preparation throughout the week — it isn't just what happens on Saturday — leads us to a confidence that's real and I believe in that. I love the way our upper classmen, which are scattered throughout the team have done a great job of bringing the youth along, knowing the importance that they have and helping them get ready for Saturday and game day."
Nick Saban told a story about giving a friend Tony Sutton who was a Georgia fan a ticket to the Blackout game. Saban gave him a ticket with the promise that Tony would sit in the Alabama section and not wear any Georgia gear. Sutton showed up with a painted Georiga "G" and proceeded to get in a fight at halftime and stuff a fellow fan in a tuba.
Saban: "When the police come to arrest him and escort him out he says 'You can't take me out of here, Coach Saban gave me these tickets!"
