This portal recruiting bit is so much crazier than hs recruiting. It seems worse in basketball than other sports in that over 50% of a team can cycle out every offseason and we're supposed to pretend its normal. Kick out... err, encourage.... your bottom 5 or 6 to look around, sign 5 or 6 out of hs knowing most won't stay more than a year, round out the roster out of the portal. Madness. And not a good kind of madness.

Like musical chairs played with music at 10x speed. Maybe you get lucky and maybe someone else trips trying to keep up and wipes you out along with half a dozen others.

In terms of point guard? Not anyone right now. For 2 guards I love Denver Jones, Quincy Olivari, and Caleb Love. However I don’t see Alabama landing any of these

No surprise at all. Arkansas will spend whatever for basketball. It is important to the entire fan base. Not just when they have a great season.

The thoughts of him possibly being our primary ball handler are pretty unnerving.
