This may not be the most insightful post you will ever read. After all, I don't think I am saying anything radical here. But, to me the two things Alabama needs to do are:
Defensively - eliminate Dobbs' running game. Sacking him is not as important as keeping him in the pocket. Dobbs is not a terrible passer, but he will pitch it to us a few times if forced to hold it and stay in. He is too erratic as a passer to consistently hit tight windows. (A little improvement in the coverage would be nice as well - Arkansas had guys running loose all night.)
Offensively - Take shots down field. To help the running game, especially with UT being without two of its top LB's, Kiffin needs to force them to keep both safeties back. We don't have to consistently hit downfield shots, but we have to take them. If the line only has to deal with the front seven, Harris, Jacobs and Scarborough don't need much to gain yards.
