any guesses as to why Gary is one of the first guys off of the bench but is rarely seen again for the remaining 75% of the game?? Is he wanting to utilize his legs and lungs early before it's crunch time?
If Oats is hellbent on running a 9 man rotation, swapping Gary for Rojas seems fairly obvious. Otherwise, cut them both out and get it down to 8any guesses as to why Gary is one of the first guys off of the bench but is rarely seen again for the remaining 75% of the game?? I don't disagree, but depth helped Bama win on Saturday. I like Gary better than Rojas because of his size and athleticism, but Rojas has had a couple of solid games. If Oats is hellbent on running a 9 man rotation, swapping Gary for Rojas seems fairly obvious. He definitely has. But, some players are bad in that they’re not particularly productive(Ben Eblen). Others are bad in that they’re actually destructive. For the most part, Rojas is the latter. I could live with it if he just wasn’t doing much to speak of, but this dude comes in for 4 minutes and picks up 2 and 1 fouls, 3 turnovers, and 6 missed shots.I don't disagree, but depth helped Bama win on Saturday. I feel like if he jumps you can’t slid a single piece of paper under his feet.I don't disagree, but depth helped Bama win on Saturday. I like Gary better than Rojas because of his size and athleticism, but Rojas has had a couple of solid games.
I am not arguing that Gary should be getting more minutes. I just find it odd that Gary seems to be one of the first kids off of the bench and then puts his warm-ups back on and goes and sits in the bus. Maybe he is getting more minutes than I realize. Maybe Oats accidentally played him 5 games ago and isnt changing his routine until they lose.I don't disagree, but depth helped Bama win on Saturday. Absolutely weird. He’s done it several times.I am not arguing that Gary should be getting more minutes.
