Wish Alabama placed more attention to some of these sports. aka, spend some money on them.
No one has cared about Bama women’s basketball in over 20 years- administration or fans. Very sad. Current AD will hold Curry responsible though.

Curry and her on staff husband are paid 3/4 million. Money was spent. Job not done. Simple as that.
I like girls basketball. I’ve coached it a lot. I like the fact that you can’t skip over a lot of things you can with boys/men. But I don’t live in Tuscaloosa and it’s rarely in TV, so it is difficult to follow. I watch it when it’s on. I want all Alabama teams to win. So hopefully the AD will address the issue. I questioned their early season success against bad teams and got in trouble for being negative.....

I've said this a million times. Where the program was when Curry took over to where it is know is truly remarkable. I love the women's game more than the men's game. I've coached the women's game for years and the skill level of these females has gone through the roof. Bama basketball was in the dumps when she took over, barely ever won an SEC game. Know were competing with the best in the league, hell we were leading SC at the half.
Truly remarkable? She has been here EIGHT years. Eight. We have yet to make the NCAA tournament. Should have already been replaced.
I have been a Curry fan for a long time, but it is looking more and more it is time for a change. Her recruiting is not up to standards of an Alabama team and their basics of the game is lacking. I now agree it is time to move on.
Yep. How can you be here 8 years and not establish the relationships to be able to recruit in state?
Or did they play a non conference schedule like Georgia’s men?
