Ladies Soccer opens at home at 5:00 in NCAA against Western Carolina.

– The No. 24 Alabama soccer team (11-4-5) will host Southern Conference champion Western Carolina (13-4-3) on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Competing as a six seed, UA kicks off against the Catamounts at 5 p.m. CT at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.

The Tide opens the NCAA Tournament at home for just the second time after earning the right to host for the first time in program history last season. UA will make its third consecutive NCAA tournament debut and fourth appearance under head coach Wes Hart. Friday will mark Alabama's sixth all-time berth to the Big Dance.

the winner gets the honor of North Carolina, whom the Tide Ladies tied earlier in the year.
