DeBoer said he felt like his team has been loose and is happy to see them not be tightened up as the week has gone one.
DeBoer said Monday and Tuesday of the bye week the players focused on school. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were practice days and the team had Saturday off. He said he was happy that many of his players were watching other games. Team practiced Sunday afternoon. Focus has been on getting mentally fresh. "Our guys have been going for seven weeks and this is week 8."
