jd will be somewhere around the middle of the second round. no keon or shack but they will get a tryout with somebody.

I have heard he is not a good teammate. He was part of the problem last year. Heard he has a me first mentality. Don’t know if that is true. Just what I heard. I do know his offense game was much better this past year. He still has a lot of work to do to improve his defense.

Projections have him and JD going middle of 2 round. Scouts think Keon has the ability to be an elite defender and he can take people of dribble. We see on latter. Shack will be lucky to ever see minutes in the league or G league.
i hope keon get drafted if it is in the right place. he will get a tryout wither he get drafted or not. just hope he is at the right place for him to fit in.
I too will be very surprised if Ellis gets drafted. I'm having some doubts about JD now after he measured at just over 6' at the combine.
I agree. Don’t see JD getting drafted. All nba players are great athletes. Not sure JDs value.
Ceiling is high. Can’t teach speed or hops. The NBA will clean up his game. Bench player for sure. Also, he is young enough to be molded.
The combine was not kind to either Keon Or JD…Keon measured way smaller than he was listed, as did JD, plus JD’s athletic measurements weren’t as elite as expected.
Prior to the combine there seemed to be a lot of Keon Ellis chatter as a sleeper prospect that teams were watching, but that was when they thought he was a 6-6 wing…at 6-3 he is a much less versatile player.

JD may eventually prove us all wrong, but I still believe that he would have enhanced his stock/chances had he stayed an extra year. Hell, he may have made more $$$ with an NIL deal.
