Vigor (Ala.) defender Jabarrius Garror is set to visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend, following his teammate Micah DeBose who visits on Friday.
Garror already holds an offer from the new Alabama staff, along with a number of other offers.
Ahead of his visit, Garror spoke about what this weekend means.
“It’s an important weekend for me,” Garror said. “To get to spend time in Alabama is always special and to get to get around the coaches is even more special. It seems like Coach DeBoer is putting together the right formula to have success. They had a strong finish to the 2024 class, even after Saban retired, which caught my attention.”
“There has been some changes to how they handle business but what’s important at the end of the day is relationships. So I just want to get a better feel for the current situation. I’ve been getting a lot of attention lately from all the top programs as they try to get me on campus but I wanted to stop by Bama to see what they were talking about.”
Garror already holds the Tide in High pecking order.
“Alabama is a great school with a tradition of excellence, really no matter what area you play your part. You see even with the basketball team, that they have a Bama Standard for how you perform and ultimately win. I look forward to getting campus this weekend with my family. It should be a great time.”
