we all know coach bryant codelled him and let him hang around for many years as his QB coach. he even mad him his O.C. even though we all know he was never good enough to ever be a starter in his 3 years of eligibility as a player.. that is inexcusable. his sophomore and junior year he was beat out by pat trammell. at least pat was a year older, but his senior year he let a damn sophomore come in and beat him out. -- i can not remember the kids name, but i know he was a sophomore. coach bryant must have just felt sorry for him and gave him a job. he then piggy-backed off that and made a living off the university of alabama for most of the rest of his life
