Looks like Mayer has decided he isn’t going to the draft. Does anybody know if we are pushing for him? The guy would be a perfect fit for us.

That’s unfortunate. Was really hoping we could get him. Dude is a great player especially for our system.

Yep he definitely is. He’s also a perfect fit for them and they believe he’s a better version of Brady Manek that played the stretch 4 for them last year as a transfer from OU. It helps NC that they have someone from last years team to point to and say “this is the role you’ll play.”

NIL money makes it better to stay in college than not get paid. Being a no name in the G league isn't going to pay the bills.
