Remember him? I went to the South Alabama - FIU game tonight. Kessens started and played a lot of minutes but he has no more success against Sunbelt post players than he did in the SEC. He still looks like about a 160 pound 6'9" dude with tiny hands. :-D
I think he scored about 12 but USA has a 6'7" RS Fr that is listed at 244 lbs.....he abused Michael in the post several times. I think the kid wound up with 27 for the game.
Michael had that one moment in the game, like he typically did in Tuscaloosa, where he caught my attention with a really nice post and score in the post.....but then he would go back into that mode of weak positioning that would ultimately lead to a turnover.....
So yeah.....same kid, different team.
USA won the game in OT.
