Am I the only one who is outraged that Michigan can lose to an unranked team and not drop in the playoff rankings? Nobody seems to be bothered by this but I think it is really bad for college football overall and totally unfair to Louisville whose only loss is to current No. 4, Clemson. Michigan loses to unranked Iowa and drops from No. 3 all the way to No. 3. This points to the problem of putting so much power in the hands of so few. They have been told to keep Michigan up there for the sole purpose of making the OSU game more attractive i.e. more money. I never liked the "committee" idea anyway, but now I think it has proven that it needs to go. It is damaging to college football. Give the selection back to the coaches and the sportswriters. The committee is corrupt and the entire thing needs to be dismantled. Drain the swamp.
