These guys really stepped up in the 2nd half and just refused to let us lose. Miller was his usual self. JQ did a great job passing the ball and scoring some critical points. Oates decision to start JQ after the half and leave him in most of the 2nd half probably won the game for us. Clowney did a great job rebounding, playing defense, and also scored some tough shots.

Also want to tip my hat to Sears for being Mr. Clutch at the free throw line the last 2 minutes. Miller inbounding the ball and getting it in Sears hands was very important.

We beat a very good basketball team. l would not be surprised if they are not our biggest challenge in the SEC Tournament.

Also tip my hat to the crowd today. Great atmosphere.

Sears was 9/10 at the FT line.

This basketball team wins in a variety of ways

I like Pringle, too, but who are you going to take them from. He is already taken all of Gurley’s. Clowney needs to be out there.
I agree. I like Pringle too, but, with our normal offense, Clowney has to be out there, and I think some of us forget what just the presence of Bediako’s length in the middle of the lane does by making others teams change their offensive options. Pringle is the first big off the bench, and, currently, I think that is his best role for us.

Hey. Legit question for sure. I agree to an extent. However, there are some games the Charles B just plays soft and needs to sit. I think Pringle's offensive game is certainly stronger the CB's. I am not too sure his defensive game is much different. Pringle just brings an energy. Charles brings minimal energy and Clowney brings ZERO energy. He looks like someone has beaten his dog every time he hits the floor. The guys is lethargic for sure. Yes he is crazy talented and always seems to play decently. I am referring to energy only. Clowney can suck the energy out of the team for sure. I am just more concerned with losing him next season due to lack of playing time. If Clowney stays next season, what would change for Pringle? I mean you could possibly move Clowney to the 3 but he just has a difficult time creating his own shot. This is a good discussion. What do you think @pfaud001?

I don't think Clowney will ever be a 3. He doesn't handle the ball well enough, but I could be wrong. If he did figure that out, he would be really hard to stop. I do think Clowney's body language looks awful, but I think that is just his personality. He could go 30 and 10 and still look depressed. I think he leaves unless he gets a good NIL deal to stay. Speaking of NIL, Pringle needs to get a agent and go after Pringles. Once you pop, you just can't stop.

Bediako (after reading post on this board) is starting to exert himself a little more. Maybe the fear of losing PT to Pringle put a spark in him. I would like to see Oats mix it up a little and stick Pringle and Bediako on the court at the same time, just to give opponents something to think about. Can't leave both in too long because they are foul prone.
