This will be a very difficult game. They are very experienced, very physical, and playing as good as anyone.
We will need to be ready to play with intensity from the opening tip. JQ was better last night but needs to
continue to get back to early season form. Herb needs to get well. He hasnt played well at all the last three
games because of the back. Other teams have learned how to play us better, but we are on the verge of a
very special season. Some dont understand what us "long suffering" basketball fans have been hoping for
a long time. Big time game on Saturday. I think it is bigger than the Oklahoma game.

Agree with you OP. We have to cut down on the turnovers. Finishing at the rim a little better would also be nice, but the turnovers are just momentum killers.

Would have been nice to beat OU but Mizzou is a conference game in the thick of our title run, easily more important. And Herby had 8 rebounds in 12 minutes last night. He is playing just fine.

Missouri is good, but they're not world beaters. In their last 3 games they have lost to the boogs, were taken to overtime by a very mediocre TCU team, and won a nail biter over Kentucky. It's a game we should win if we play well.
I suspect we'll find our shooting again between 5, 23, and 11 and bomb them pretty good from deep.

Oklahoma was one of those games IMO. Away game against a very good opponent that went down to the wire. Win or lose they are great experiences.

I agree. And Bama did not win or have a good shooting game. That is why I’m thinking this Missouri game is a measuring stick to see if they have what it takes to make a legit run in the tourney.

I wouldn’t judge based on this game if they’ll make a deep run, but this is a game that both the defense and offense will have to play great. They have 3 legit scorers, similar to LSU, but they play excellent 3 point defense. Alabama will have to dominate the paint once again

I think they match up well against us with their length, but I still think we beat them. Alabama is struggling with injuries, but we have the depth that can keep this team winning.

big game for sure. we started out sleep walking early in the last 11am game after traveling. hope we have changed our routine on this one
Oats needs to hold TAPS around 10 p.m. tonight so the players can get their 10 hours of sleep!
"Taps...Taps...lights out. The smoking lamp is out. Maintain silence about the deck...now Taps!"

Agree with sleep walking, last week was early game playing ranked OU team, on the road... players not accustomed to situation

This one's early also, maybe they learned from last week

I see you did not see our game with Kentucky. The Cats are young talented and improving.
