in Tuscaloosa now. Piling money on a guy....with a big name......might sound exciting, but I want a guy with a burning desire to be "the guy" that puts basketball on the map again. It could be one of the men we are scoffing at, while truth be known, a prohm, or white, or underwood.....may just be the ticket. A competitive, hard driving guy that will get off his duff and recruit wide, and hard, and do some promoting.
Grant just failed miserably at doing some simple things that frankly probably would have saved his job. He was such a dullard, and had so little personality, that it bit him in the rear end. There was just no "love" for him on anyone's part.
