we have that percentage that just had some birthday money to burn, so they took $100 of it and bought a Marvelous Membership to Tidesports.com. Point being, they paid their money, so they have the right to post pretty much whatever they want.....within guidelines of the course.

From 2008 throughout the 2014 seasons, Bama got better & better.
Let's just forget about 2007. Deal??????? So, 2008 thru 2014...SEVEN years...the most games lost in ANY of those seasons......was 3!!! Yep, THREE!!
Pretty sweet having a record that good, in the toughest conference in ALL of college football!!
So....here is the question.
What was it that made our team get better and better...until we maxed out in '09, Almost '10, '11, 12??
THREE NCS in 4 years!!????
Well.........many will say the coaching! Can't argue with that!
But, not what I'm looking for here.
Maybe team chemistry. Another great answer.
Or, top rated competition at all positions! So close, I can taste it!
And, all good answers!
However, I believe it all began to come together in the middle of the '08 season...
We had this group of freshmen who began to click together. They were led by a VERY special young player by the name of......Barrett Jones!!! Yep....in "MY OPINION," as the Offensive Line went.....SO went The Crimson Tide!!
When our Oline was Stellar.....we won SECCs & NCs!!! But, when the Oline had holes and gaps in it, we didn't fare so well.
"Well, that was elementary, Len."
Yes....and no. Weaknesses on a football team are not always so easy to see. At least, not after game 1, or 2. It takes some time to detect the breakdowns. But....in '10 & '14 we needed a rock solid Oline to take the trophy home! But injuries kept us from building another championship team those two years!
So that's my reasons. However, the cupboard is sufficiently STOCKED with totally AWESOME recruits, who only need a little game time experience and a WHOLE LOT OF practice time together to create that magical gel of brotherhood and foxhole mentality!! I look forward to seeing another 3-4 year streak of championships!!
America is beginning to tolerate us again!!! We need another NC ring to keep America hating and completely SICK of the Crimson Tide!!

To the delight of MANY.....this will be my absolute last post on Tidesports.com. The end to a mighty lonnnng run. It has absolutely nothing to do with ANY of the wonderful staff of Tidesports. And really not the posters either. Even the knucklrheaded ones!!
It's been a Grand, 15 year ride. But, it's time to move on. You know the old cliche....."All good things must come to an end!"
